The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this
Commercial item description in lieu of Federal Specification PPP-B-1606
This commercial item description covers Post Office money order form boxes made in the following styles and sizes.
Styles 1and II shall be one-piece tuck-end style (OPTE), modified as shown in figures 1 and 2. The sizes shall be inside dimensions, in inches, as follows with a tolerance of minus 0, plus 3/16 inch:

Style III shall be an end opening regular slotted box (RSC). Style IV shall be an RSC box. Both styles, III and IV shall be in accordance with National Motor Freight Classification (NMFC), item 222-5(a), and Uniform Freight Classification (UFC), Rule 41, Section 6(a).
The sizes shall be inside dimensions as follows with a tolerance of minus 0, plus 3/16:

Salient characteristics:
The corrugated fiberboard boxes shall be a minimum grade of 125, B-flute for style 1, size 1, style II, size 4, and style III sizes 5, 6 and 7. For style IV, size 8, the corrugated fiberboard boxes shall be a minimum grade of 200, C-flute. The above styles and sized shall be in accordance with NMFC item 222 and UFC Rule 41.
Style III, size 5 thru 7 boxes shall have butted and taped manufacturer’s joints. Style IV , size 8 shall have lap type stitched or stapled manufacturer’s joints.
NOTE: Purchasers should specify box styles and size required.
