BOX, FOLDING (Spectacle Mailing)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this Commercial Item Description.
This commercial item description covers three sizes of folding boxes suitable for mailing spectacles in their spectacle cases, supplied in the flat form.

The boxes shall be made of 200 pound test corrugated fiberboard. The inside facing shall be kraft-colored. The outside facing shall be white or mottled white.
The boxes shall be made from a flat, one piece, scored and die-cut form blank capable of being readily folded along score lines into a rigid box by one person without using any auxiliary fastening devices or materials. The locking tabs on the end panels shall maintain the box in the rigid assembled form by properly fitting into the locking slits.
